If you have a little trouble finding your way around the many new features, or if you are simply curious, here is a list of 10 models that deserve your attention.
The Veloster N is the Hyundai equivalent of the M model at BMW. The same engineer, Albert Biermann, was in charge of the performance of these two brands. The Veloster features the same front suspension as the Elantra GT Sport, the best hatchback offered by Hyundai to date. With the purchase, it is possible to add the options of limited slip differential, or self-locking differential, and Pirelli P Zero tires with superior grip.
Launched in 1989, the Lexus ES has long proven its reliability. However, the new 2019 model does not disappoint! In addition to its even more elegant style, it offers better performance and improved driving dynamics. In addition, it is the very first ES model to be manufactured in America! The ES 350 has a 302-horsepower V6 engine, while the ES 300 has a self-loading hybrid engine.
Completely redesigned, the new Toyota RAV4 2019 will appeal to technology lovers. In addition to having a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission that make driving very pleasant, it will also integrate the Entune 3.0 application with Amazon’s Apple CarPlay and Alexa. In addition, the RAV4 will also return as a hybrid model, one of the few of its kind in the category.
A new Nissan Altima model means a new look! Indeed, the Altima 2019 comes back to us with a more sporty attitude and a totally redesigned interior. The mid-size sedan offers for the first time all-wheel drive, a rare feature for this type of vehicle. An all-new turbocharged engine is also available, combining 236 horsepower and 34 mpg on the highway. Integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Nissan Altima is available in 6 different models.
The new Kia K900 will impress you with its twin-turbo V6 engine borrowed from the Stinger and standard all-wheel drive. Comfort is also a must in this car; the driver’s seat is heated and ventilated and can be adjusted to 20 different positions. Safety was also considered in depth during the construction of the K900, which is why it features a panoramic vision monitor, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and a new exit assistance function.
The Toyota Avalon also benefits from a new, redesigned look, giving it a more aggressive look that perfectly matches its superior power. The base engine is a 3.5-litre V6 with 301 horsepower and the car is available with a choice of two suspensions, depending on whether you choose the XLE and Limited or the XSE and Touring models. The Toyota Avalon also features Amazon’s Entune 3.0 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Alexa.
Another 2019 model to have undergone a complete redesign is the Audi A6. Indeed, it now has a style more inspired by the Audi A8, a more powerful base engine, a new interior and all-wheel drive. With, in addition, a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the A6 is a sportier Audi model than what we’ve come to expect from the brand. A 4-cylinder engine is also available as an option.
Now equipped with four doors, the Mercedes AMG GT retains the style of the two doors model, but on a brand new architecture using the MRA platform. The GT 63 model has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 630 horsepower, while the GT 53 model has the all-new l-6 hybrid engine. Both are equipped with a nine-speed MCT automatic transmission, all-wheel drive with Drift mode, rear steering, Race mode, adjustable air suspension and two 12.3-inch displays.
The BMW 8 Series was created to replace the coupé and convertible 6 Series. The latter is a perfect blend of sport and luxury with a 4.4-litre, 523-horsepower, 8-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine. Fitted on mixed tires and equipped with the brand’s M sport differential, the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system offers superior traction to the vehicle. The 8 Series integrates the iDrive 7, Professional Driver’s Edge, BMW 7.0 operating system, Live Cockpit Professional and Driving Assistant Pack Professional.
This Kia is also inspired by the Stinger, but this time it was not its engine that was borrowed from it, but its sporty look. The Forte includes the all-new CVT, an 8.0-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging. The Kia Forte is equipped with a blind spot monitoring system, lane departure assistance and automatic emergency braking, as well as an optional adaptive cruise control. This shows that this car puts everything in place for unparalleled safety!
There is no shortage of choice in terms of new 2019 cars that are beautiful, comfortable, powerful and safe. Certainly, one of these models will satisfy the selective driver in you!
