Scalp massage

Where does your hair grow from? Your scalp, of course! Massage your scalp to increase blood circulation, which will then stimulate hair growth. A delicious smelling oil (argan oil, almond oil, lavender oil, etc.) will help nourish your scalp and will make your hair massage more enjoyable too! A healthy scalp means a happy scalp.

Hair masks

Hair masks, whether you make them at home or buy them at the store are like hair vitamins. They will add moisture and TLC to your hair and encourage hair growth. Hair masks will also make your hair shinier. If you have thick hair, you can do a hair mask twice a week for optimal results.

Healthy diet

Foods that are filled with omega-3s (salmon) and antioxidants (berries) help keep your hair healthy and strong. The better your diet, the easier it will be for your hair to grow. You can also take a multivitamin to ensure you get all your daily nutrients.

Frequent trims

Question: How to make your hair grow faster? Answer: Trim them with frequent hair cuts. Sounds counterproductive? This will actually make your hair grow faster. Snipping off your slipt ends will keep your tips healthy.

Microfiber hair towel

A normal cotton towel causes a lot of breakage, something you absolutely want to avoid when you are looking to speed up hair growth. A thin and soft microfiber towel, on the other hand, is perfect to wrap around your hair.

Lay off the styling products

Forget about using a blow dryer and then a hair straightener. Pick and choose the styling products you use so you can give your hair a rest. For example, air dry your hair, protect your hair with a heat spray and then use an iron.

Rinse with cold water

Rinsing your hair with cold water prevents your hair from losing all the moisture it needs to stay healthy.

Proper haircare is, without a doubt, the only way for your hair to grow fast. These hair tips are not foolproof but they will ensure you do everything in your power to help your hair grow.
