Loaded with antioxidants, Kale is a good addition in the fight against free radicals and oxidative damage resulting, among other things, in ageing and as well as several diseases. The dark green cruciferous vegetable can also help lower cholesterol levels which promotes a healthy heart. Finally, kale is known to contain several substances that are believed to help prevent and protect against cancer.
